September 3 and 4, 2026 - All 5th graders have instruments, books, and supplies, and have turned in enrollment forms

December 15, 2026 North Area Elementary Concert at Shawnee Mission North Auditorium 7:00pm

This concert will combine Bluejacket-Flint, Merriam Park, Rushton, and East Antioch band and orchestra.

December 16, 2026 North Area Elementary Concert at Shawnee Mission North Auditorium 7:00pm

This concert will combine Crestview, Nieman, Roesland, and Santa Fe Trail band and orchestra.  

March 23, 2027 North Area Orchestra Festival

9:00am-10:30am Practice - Students will ride the bus to Shawnee Mission North high school

7:00pm Performance at Shawnee Mission North in the Fieldhouse

April 7, 2027 North Area Band Festival at Shawnee Mission North
