Host free community events like the Carnival and Cultural Night
Provide classroom supplies that support engaging, hands-on learning
Invest in staff appreciation efforts that help retain and support our amazing teachers.
Every dollar is spent intentionally and directly benefits our students, families and staff.

WHAT IS SMAC PTA?
The Shawnee Mission Area Council is a group of local PTA units organized under the authority of the state PTA for the purpose of conferences, leadership training and coordination of the efforts of such local PTA units.
📌Check out the SMAC PTA Legislative Team to stay informed on up-to-date legislation and policy, as well as specific ways you can exercise your voice. This team is responsible advocating for our public school kids in Topeka and elsewhere. They coordinate various opportunities for parent, teacher, patron engagement & education in the political process, and provide education on how to effectively advocate for our kids, educators, and our schools.
