*Today is Dr. Seuss Day! You may wear your gym uniform with crazy hats and socks. Bring in Dr. Seuss books if you have them. We will take some time to read them in class.
Reading- Read a fiction story of your choice for the March book report. The book should be written on at least a third grade level. Complete the Cereal Box Book Report papers. Make sure all words are spelled correctly and proper punctuation is used. Use color for all the pictures which can be drawn or printed and glued on. Cut out all five sections and glue them to an empty cereal box. This is due on March 31.

*Scholastic book order flyers are coming home today. There is a coupon attached for a free book when you spent $5 or more. All orders are due online by Friday.
*Get the field trip permission slip signed and return.
Tuesday:
*Today is Curl Up With A Good Book Day! You may wear pajamas (with tennis shoes) and bring a small stuffy and blanket. Bring in a book you'd like to read in class.

*If we are closed today for snow, asynchronous work will be on my Google Classroom. Don't do math pp.369-370. It will be tomorrow's homework, and the test will be moved to Thursday.
Wednesday:
*Today is Book Character Day! You may wear add-ons with your gym uniform or dress as your favorite book character (no masks, toys, weapons, or make up). Costumes must be safe, and students must be able to walk comfortably. Bring the book if possible to share with the class and describe the character.

*Today is Reading is a Superpower Day! You may wear your favorite superhero tshirt or add-on (no full costumes). You may bring books about superheroes to school. We will take add-ons that can be removed off before mass.

Friday:
*Today is Reading Lights Up Our Minds Day! You may wear your brightest neon colors with your gym uniform. We will "Drop Everything and Read" in the afternoon. You may bring small flashlights to use during this time.

We began a new adventure this year. Traveling Teresa (small doll) and a notebook about her adventures will go home with a new student each week. Names will be picked randomly on Fridays. Students should write about what Teresa does over the weekend in the notebook. Please include pictures if possible. There are examples in the book. The notebook and Teresa should be brought back to school by Tuesday. A new student will take her home the following Friday.
