Tuesday:

*Thank you for all the donations of Clorox wipes.  We have plenty for now.  I appreciate your kindness:)

Math- paper

Spelling- List 12 spelling words- 2X each in cursive

Vocabulary- study new Unit 9 vocabulary words- test 1/29

Writing- Write a good draft of your "How to Make the World a Better Place" paragraph on the MLK, Jr. paper. It should be 8-10 sentences long.  You may write in cursive, or you may print. This is due on Thursday.  I'm giving an extra day if it takes you a little longer to write in cursive.

Reading- Read a fiction or nonfiction book for the January book report.  The book should be written on a third grade level.  Complete the paper after you've read the book.  Be sure to write in complete sentences and spell all words correctly.  This is due on Thursday, January 29.

*Scholastic book orders are due online today.

Wednesday:

Math- paper

Spelling- rainbow words in cursive

Vocabulary- study new Unit 9 vocabulary words

Writing- paragraph due tomorrow

Social Studies- time line due Tuesday, 1/27

Thursday:

Traveling Teresa:

*We began a new adventure this year. Traveling Teresa (small doll) and a notebook about her adventures will go home with a new student each week. Names will be picked randomly on Fridays.  Students should write about what Teresa does over the weekend in the notebook.  Please include pictures if possible. There are examples in the book. The notebook and Teresa should be brought back to school by Tuesday.  A new student will take her home the following Friday.
