Homework

              Welcome to Third Grade!

Monday:

Math-  IXL divide by 8 *Directions for logging in to IXL are glued to the front of the assignment pad.  (All IXL homework is graded.)

Spelling- no new spelling words this week (We'll continue to work on the words from last week.)

Vocabulary- study new Unit 5 vocabulary words- test 11/7

Religion- Glorious Mysteries of the Rosary quiz Wed.- Students will need to know the order of the mysteries.  They will be written.

*Reading- October book report and pumpkin due Friday  *Do not bring the pumpkin in before Friday.  The paper report can be turned in early.

*The school store will be open tomorrow from 7:45-8:05.  Bring money if you'd like to make a purchase.

*We will be walking to the library tomorrow. Bring your library card.

*Return the walking field trip permission slip today.

Tuesday:

Math- IXL divide by 9

Spelling- 

Vocabulary-study new Unit 5 vocabulary words

Religion- quiz tomorrow on the Glorious Mysteries

*We will read to our first grade Book Buddies tomorrow.  Please bring 4-5 books to read to them.  Bring Halloween books if you have them.  Thank you:)

Wednesday:

Math- paper

Spelling-

Vocabulary- study vocabulary

Religion- study the Luminous Mysteries- quiz 11/4 *We will take this on Tuesday next week since we're taking our walking field trip on Wednesday.  (This is a change from the original date listed on your paper.)

*Reading- Book report and pumpkin are due Friday

*Happy Halloween!  You may wear orange, black, and Halloween add-ons with your SMS gym uniform today.  

*12:05 dismissal

*We will begin a new adventure this weekend.  Traveling Teresa (small doll) and a notebook about her adventures will go home with a student this weekend.  Student names will be picked randomly on Fridays.  The students should write about what Teresa did over the weekend in the notebook.  Please include pictures if possible. There are two examples already in the book. The notebook and Teresa should be brought back to school by Tuesday.  A new student will take her home the following Friday.
