Homework

              Welcome to Third Grade!

Monday:

Reading- Read a fiction story of your choice for the March book report.  The book should be written on at least a third grade level.  Complete the Cereal Box Book Report papers.  Make sure all words are spelled correctly and proper punctuation is used.  Use color for all the pictures which can be drawn or printed and glued on.  Cut out all five sections and glue them to an empty cereal box.  This is due tomorrow.  Please remember to bring the rubric.  

Math- paper

Spelling- There will not be any new spelling words this week.

Vocabulary- study unit 13 vocab. words, test 4/2

Religion- Chapter 16 test tomorrow

Social Studies- Market Day form due Thursday, products due 4/15

Tuesday:

Math- paper

Vocabulary- study vocab. words

Wednesday:

Vocabulary- test tomorrow

*Wear your regular SMS uniform today with tennis shoes.  Bring a bag lunch with your name clearly written on it.  You may want to put it in a large ziplock bag or grocery plastic bag.

Thursday:

*There will not be a required book report for the month of April.  There will be a Beatitudes project for religion later this month.

We began a new adventure this year. Traveling Teresa (small doll) and a notebook about her adventures will go home with a new student each week. Names will be picked randomly on Fridays.  Students should write about what Teresa does over the weekend in the notebook.  Please include pictures if possible. There are examples in the book. The notebook and Teresa should be brought back to school by Tuesday.  A new student will take her home the following Friday.
