KS3 Music

The goal of music in KS3 at Smithdon is to provide students with a well-rounded education, where students are exposed to a wide variety of musical genres and artists.  Students are given the opportunity to learn a variety of instruments and perform for their peers; compose and write their own music in traditional styles and using music technology, and taught how to thoroughly analyse the music that they hear.

To find out more about what is studied by each year group please go to the specific pages for Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9.
