The Sports Medicine program is part of the Health Sciences pathway and provides students with both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience related to the prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. Students learn essential principles of injury care, including therapeutic techniques and recovery strategies that support patient health and mobility.
In addition to classroom learning, students gain clinical-style experience through work-based learning opportunities and participation in healthcare-related student organizations. The program also emphasizes the development of workplace and employability skills needed for success in sports medicine and related healthcare fields.
The Sports Medicine program prepares students for a variety of healthcare careers focused on injury prevention, treatment, and athletic performance.
