Smith employees have access to Adobe Express Premium and Adobe Acrobat Pro. The full Adobe Creative Cloud suite is available only by request.
Available to the Smith community, Adobe Express Premium is a cloud-based visual content creation and design tool. You can access features on both campus computers and your personal devices and access thousands of templates and Adobe Stock images. For more information, see Adobe Express.
On Smith-owned computers to all Smith employees, Adobe Acrobat Pro can be used to:
Edit PDFs: Modify text and images, add, delete, or rotate pages, and adjust document structure directly.
Convert and Export: Transform PDFs into Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or image formats.
Combine and Split: Merge multiple files (documents, spreadsheets, images) into one PDF or split them apart.
Adobe’s extension for Google Chrome allows you to utilize Adobe Acrobat’s PDF tools in your web browser - use it to convert web pages to PDF or edit PDFs on the web.
For Faculty: To request Creative Cloud for your students to use for academic work in your course, please complete the form below to request Adobe Creative Cloud.
All Smith Employees: If you determine that Adobe Creative Cloud in required for your work, please complete the form below to request Adobe Creative Cloud.
After submitting the form, an ITS team member will review and respond to your request.
Employees who have been granted a license will be able to install Creative Cloud on their Smith-assigned computer:
Step 1:
macOS: Open the Smith College Self Service app and then select Sign In. Enter your full Smith email address and password.
Windows: Open the Software Center app (or Company Portal on newer Windows computers).
Step 2: Search for the Adobe Creative Cloud app and follow the prompts to install.
