St. Mary's runs an iPad 1:1 program in RP-5. Students in Grade 3 have their own iPad which is used in school and for select activities at home.
We take a 2 pronged approach to student safety while using iPads.

A comprehensive set of restrictions and internet filtering provided by Mosyle Mobile Device Management.

iPads are released from school management shortly before a student graduates Grade 5/leaves St. Mary's.
This removes all restrictions and filters that the school put on devices. Full control is given back to the family.
iOS devices from Apple such as iPhones and iPads can block inappropriate content, set screen time limits and prevent apps from being installed without permission. More information is available on Apple’s dedicated Families site.
