Ethical Use
Students and Teachers are expected to:
use library materials properly and with care
follow copyright laws and give credit to the original authors
cite their sources used when gathering information
Plagiarism Definition- Copying another person's work and saying it is yours.
Copyright- a type of property law that protects the original idea created by the author such as writing, songs, artwork, movies, computer software and architecture.
Streaming Movies and Copyright
In order for a school to play a movie for the entire school (incentive, back to school events, etc.) the school needs a streaming license. A popular company is Swank.
