Social media is an effective platform to communicate programs and instructional activities. This document provides guidelines and best practices associated with policy and regulation. In addition, please be sure to review this video on the use of Social Media as well as these FAQs.
On the Employee Access Center, you can complete the following tasks:
Update your demographic information (address, phone numbers, etc.)
Provide emergency contact information
View your education status and view the period for your MSDE Certification
View your paystubs
Print and complete a new direct deposit form
Review your salary and benefits information
View your leave information
Print your W2s and 1095S documents
Review your current tax information (withholdings)
View your deductions and benefits information
Use the "What If Paycheck Calculator"

Set up your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). Follow the steps found here: https://www.smcps.org/offices/information-technology-services/mfa
We need MFA due to increased security threats made on a daily basis to our system. This helps us prevent targeted attacks by having staff ensure their identity on two different devices.
Until you receive your SMCPS-issued devices, you can opt to set up MFA on your personal device. You can always change your MFA once you receive your SMCPS-issued devices. Again, it is optional to add MFA to a personal device and device preferences for MFA can be changed.
Follow the directions for setting up your laptop for the first time (see directions to the right). Even though it lists the 2021/2022 school year, the directions are still valid!
You can set up your laptop on your home wireless or using the wireless on the SMCPS network.
All full-time, benefitted SMCPS staff members receive an iPad to be used to help perform job responsibilities.
