Directions for Tuition Reimbursement
All employees of SMPCS have $3,500 for tuition reimbursement for the 2023-2024 school year (FY24).

Each reimbursement cycle starts on July 1st and ends on June 30th. Each July 1st, a new allotment of money is available.

For the 2023-2024 school year, all employees of SMCPS will have $3,500 for tuition reimbursement.
If you are taking classes to become a teacher, you get an extra $1,000 each year.
If you are pursuing a Ph.D. or Ed.D., you will have a maximum reimbursement of $5,400.

Teachers who require Praxis Tests for educator certification will be reimbursed for passing the tests as follows:

• 50% of the registration fee will reimbursed after registration documents (admission ticket) and a receipt for payment are submitted to the Department of Human Resources. Study Guides or any additional fees are not covered under this grant.
