Materials needed for the cello will be:
Instrument and bow- a student should be correctly sized at a music store. An incorrectly sized cello can be very uncomfortable and difficult for the student to play. Parents/Guardians may use this guide to size at home.
Common sizes for elementary school students are: 1/4 cello and 1/2 cello. A 3/4 cello can be played by a student who is above average height for their age. Please make sure to be sized correctly at a music store or by Mrs. Holm.
