Things to consider in choosing to play the clarinet:
Hands large enough to reach all the keys and fingertips large enough to cover the tone holes
Generally, braces are not a hindrance in forming a correct embouchure
Small motor coordination is important
Materials you will need:
Bb (B-flat) Clarinet
Reeds - beginning students should start on a size 2 1/2 reed. It is recommended to start with a box of reeds and replace as necessary.
Cleaning swab
Cork grease
