Spring Break A Sweat (mid-April) - alumni athletes return to play games
World Carnival (mid-April) - a celebration of culture and diversity; food and craft vendors, cultural performances, Quidditch and Triwizard Tournament; free
Bay to Bay Service Days - Alumni Relations initiative
Spring Appreciation Event for Staff & Faculty - usually held during the week of Spring Break

Summer
Faculty/Staff President’s Summer Picnic (early June)
Alumni Weekend (early June) - alumni love to catch up with faculty and staff at the waterfront picnic
Mulberry Music Festival - featuring jazz and/or blues music acts, this event is traditionally held on a Friday night to kickoff a weekend of Juneteenth activities across St. Mary's County and is free to attend.
River Concert Series - featuring the Cheasapeake Orchestra, this series is held on the Townhouse Greens for five consective Friday nights and free to attend Fireworks are usually done for the concert nearest July 4.
Governor’s Cup Yacht Race (first weekend in August) - the oldest and longest overnight race on the Chesapeake Bay. It starts in Annapolis on a Friday afternoon and ends at St. Mary’s City on Saturday morning.
Fall
Day-to-Serve (Sept 11-Oct 11; sometimes a riverfront cleanup or other service activity is scheduled)
Hawktoberfest (early-mid October; Homecoming weekend)
Golf Tournament at Cedar Point Golf Course on the Patuxent Naval Air Station:This is the kickoff event for homecoming weekend and fun for golfers of all levels. Guests enjoy 18 holes of golf, an all-inclusive beverage program, gift bag, lunch at the clubhouse, and great prizes.
Petruccelli Run/Walk in St. Mary's City, Maryland: This 5K race, in honor of former student John Petruccelli, raises money for the Alumni Legacy Scholarship and the Safe Ride student shuttle program.

Library Book Sale - first week in October; Tuesday & Wednesday
Halloween at the Jamie B. Roberts Stadium - trick-or-treating and free games are open to the community; usually held the Thursday before Halloween

Nurturing the Compassionate Community: An evening to Honor the Legacy of Lucille Clifton - The event, co-sponsored by the VOICES Reading Series, is free of charge and open to the public. Traditionally held on the cusp of Black History Month and womens History Month, the evening will feature poetry readings and reflections to honor St. Mary’s College’s former Distinguished Professor of the Humanities Lucille Clifton.
