ST. PETER’S ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENTS 2022 - 2023

Athletic Success 2022-2023

FALL SPORTS

Sr Tennis (Reid)- Boys Doubles (Gavin Marshall & Dechlan Gunn) came second at GBSSA and competed at OFSAA.

Sr Boys Soccer (Bruni, Pauze) - GBSSA Champions and competed at OFSAA

X-Country (Savard, M. Zyla) - Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe came second at GBSSA and competed at OFSAA. Both the Novice Boys and Senior Boys Teams competed at OFSAA.

WINTER SPORTS

Sr Girls Volleyball (Harvey) - Competed at OFSAA (2nd bid) and placed 5th at OFSAA.

Boys’ Hockey (Fontaine, Quesnelle) - MCC Champs

Curling (Desrochers) Competed at OFSAA (2nd bid)

Swimming (Quinlan, Shivers)

GBSSA Champions: Jordi Vilchez 200 m Freestyle Open, Noah Shivers 100 m Backstroke High School, Lucian Vilchez 100 m Backstroke Open, Lucian Vilchez 200 m IM Open, Jordi Vilchez 100 m IM Open, Noemi Blake 100 m Freestyle Open, Scotty Sutton 100 m Butterfly Open, Jordi Vilchez, Lucian Vilchez, Scotty Sutton & Daniel Caraballo- 400 m Freestyle Relay Open & 200 m Medley Relay Open.

OFSAA Champion: Jordi Vilchez set two OFSAA records and won 2 OFSAA Gold Medals in the 100 m IM Open and 200 m Freestyle Open.

GBSSA Champions: Olivia Glass - shot put, Kenny Champ -1500 & 3000, Janell Ineh - shot put.

OFSAA Regional Champions Ethan Eiselt-Rolfe -1500m, Kenny Champ - 3000m, Janell Ineh -shot put, Braedon Lloyd - 400m hurdles

OFSAA Champions: Kenny Champ -2 OFSAA GOLD Medals 1500 & 3000, Janell Ineh 4th in shot put.

Jr Tennis (Reid) - GBSSA Champions - Mixed Doubles (Isabella Protopapas & Owen Srigley) and Boys Doubles (Sheamus Gunn and Dante Good).

Slo-Pitch (Fontaine, Purvis, Rogers) - GBSSA Champions and 4th at OFSAA
