Our goal at St Peter’s is to offer a well balanced program that gives all students a chance to grow to their potential academically, spiritually and emotionally.
To accomplish this, we feel that the work done in the classroom should be balanced with opportunities to participate in extra curricular programs that cater to the particular interests of our students. We believe that for a school to be truly educational, we must compliment class work with a high-quality diverse activity program. Studies have shown that students who participate in extra curricular activities do better academically.
We encourage you to get involved in your school and to help make it a better place to be!
The St. Peter's School App was created by student leader Noah Striker, Class of 2020. In the app you will find a complete list of all extra-curricular activities offered at St. Peter's.
Be sure to accept receiving notifications from the app to learn aboul all Student Activity / School updates.

Spirit Points have been around St. Peter's since the inception of Clash of the Colours in 2003! They were created to track friendly rivalry between the staff, students and grades as the grades come together and work as a team to be crowned the Spirit Champion of the year! We have had some grades win 3 times in a row and we have had a group of Gr. 9's win too!
Some years are better than others in the amount of Spirit Point Opportunities we have, however we keep the spirit alive :)
Why not? ... they are tradition :)
At assemblies, during food drives, lunchtime activities and other grade challenges, spirit points are tracked based on who wins each activity. Tracking spirit points are a great way to bring the grades together as a community to celebrate competition.
Student Life doesn't happen without student leaders!! St. Peter's provides many opportunities for students to lead and get involved. From attending provincial to national student leadership confrence, to planning and executing activities that bring our school community together! Check out the school app for a list of these opportunities!
There are many student leadership opportunities at St. Peter's. The Panther Student Union is our 'student council'. We also have Link Crew, Athletic Council, Social Justice Committee, Languages Club etc... All of these are listed in our School App. None of the community events would take place without dedicated student leaders who like to 'leave St. Peter's better than they found it'!
