Safety Onsite & IT Policies
Children learn best when they are healthy, safe and secure, so creating a Safe and Caring Environment is at the centre of everything we do. Safeguarding children runs through all of our policies and daily procedures from recruitment of our team to daily risk assessments of the premises.
Creating a Safe and Caring Environment requires partnership with our parents and we ask that help us by:
Ensuring your child is dressed appropriately for nursery. this includes avoiding jewellery or hair accessories that may pose a risk.
Not using mobile phones or cameras on the premises. Please don’t be offended if our team members remind you of this. All visitors will be shown to a quiet space where they can use their mobile phone, where no children are present.
Ensuring that all entrance gates and doors are closed.
Not smoking anywhere on the premises, including in the outdoor collection areas.
Use of IT in the Setting
Children only have access to the internet for educational purposes and always under the supervision of our team members.
Children should not bring any electronic equipment with them to the setting. Any electronic devices will be stored safely by the Manager and returned to parents at the end of the session.
Please note we ask that our team members not to accept social media friend requests from parents and/or children.
