ArchiMate as a popular modeling language for business architecture is applied nowadays. The DFD acts as a visual map of an organization's structure that includes business process, information flows, applications, and technologies in the core infrastructure. ArchiMate serves as a standardized framework for documentation, as well as a structured way to express complex architectures. This, in turn, simplifies the communication among the stakeholders and reduces the tension during the decision-making process. This is what aims at providing to architects the capability to create a library of symbols and widely used notations that can efficiently communicate their intentions, and at the same time build to scale. Model ArchiMate represents different viewpoints - each of those points of view captures a particular aspect of the design architecture, and the interdependencies among architecture components are assessed as well. ArchiMate is now seen as an open and neutral standard by organizations to help them with such things as architecture governance, modeling practices and documentation processes improvement.
