Lean and Agile are the tools valued by PMs and BOS managers alike for boosting productivity and adaptability. The iterative development approach of Agileis to divide work into smaller increments or "sprints." Thus, the team could adapt and continue evolution of requirements through the rapid response to customer's needs. It is user-oriented and takes into account teamwork, customer opinions and incidental releases of value. Though Lean upholds the elimination of wasteful practices and the pursuance of value evolution, it does so by expediting paces, reducing time frames, and improving resource utilization. It accentuates the ongoing nature of the change, problem-solving methods, and self-empowerment in the employees. However, the Agile method is most often implemented in the software development, while Lean can be used by anyone to achieve higher productivity and to satisfy customer requirements. Both approaches support a client-oriented model works and reasoned innovation as a primary driver for organizational success.
