The university we headed to is Dong Thap University. Relative to what I'm familiar with, it's a gigantic school. At least vertically. You could walk for 20 minutes left or right and you'd still be in the vicinity of DThU, though this might have to do with the fact that it's flat land.
There were numerous facilities on site, a majority of them were buildings for traditional learning classes, but it was also apparent that DThU was interested in nurturing more than just the knowledge of the learners. There were several courts for different types of sports including basketball, badminton and soccer. The school had an indoor pool and an outdoor pool for practice, along with a building dedicated for their libraries. This same building was also host to the "Foreign Language Center" and the English Language Zone.
DEPLOYMENT
We were deployed to a school called Future School with facilities able to accommodate students from Kindergarten up to 9th Grade.
It was a spacious school with plans to build a highschool in the near future. It is a school that prepares its students to potentially further pursue their education in Germany if they so choose, and thus teach English and German alongside other subjects in their instruction.
