Augmentation is basically when you take a lesson activity and add in a technology tool that may include a small feature that adds additional educational value to the activity.

Example: Typing an essay and using a self-editing tool, like Read&Write’s text-to-speech extension to hear the essay read aloud, to review work before submitting it.
