Students have 21 calendar days from the day they start a test to finish it, otherwise it resets itself.
Testing takes approximately 90 minutes per subject area. (September tests are longer)
Log in and check your roster to make sure you are not missing students
We recommend that you print out your roster. Highlight any usernames with typos or extra spaces.
Make sure Chromebooks are updated.
Get mice if needed.
All subjects / grades will need headphones.
Math tests require scrap paper and a pencil.
Share with students why they are being asked to take the test.
Make sure they know that they will see brain breaks (games) as they progress.
Share that the interactive lessons will be based on test results.
Don’t forget tests ARE NOT timed!
Please give your students breaks if they look like they are having trouble concentrating.
If you need activity ideas, see here.

This includes usernames and passwords.
Check this at least two days before your assessment is administered - it takes up to 24 hours to add any students you discover are missing!
If you would like to print reports for a specific small group of students, you can create an instructional group.
Note - Teachers must be able to access their students to add them to an instructional group. If you can't access your students for this task, contact your iReady administrator.
Note - Teachers cannot add co-teachers to an instructional group. If you need a co-teacher added, ask an iReady administrator.
Was someone rushing during their test? You can reassign diagnostics to students if needed.
How to get to and generate reports - including the three basic reports:
a "gradebook" view of diagnostic test results
a grouping report that gives you resources that can be printed for groups of students with different needs
a report that tracks how students are doing in their online lessons
How to unlock a domain
How to adjust a student's upcoming lessons
How to assign specific lessons to some or all students
Visible to district iReady admins only
As an admin, you can change the passwords of users with lower access rights than you, like teachers.
If you are a building admin, you cannot change a district admin's password.
For teachers who may not be connected to the students they work with via SchoolTool-imported iReady courses, this technique will allow you to add them as a co-teacher to those courses.
This allows teachers who have not been connected to the SchoolTool-imported iReady courses they have students in to have access to their students.
If the resource teachers have access to their students already, they will be able to set up instructional groups on their own.
For beginning, middle and end of the year benchmarking tests.
