Our assignment was to take a small 1 act script and turn it into a movie. We took the idea of a triple homicide and made it a story that 3 little kids fabricated in their imaginations. Luckily we didn't face any technical issues. The only struggles we faced was working with the actors which is to be expected when working with kids. But, they did an amazing job and I am proud of all of them. This film really helped us learn how to perfect our production technique.
Michael, Mary, and Lisa are best friends with very active imaginations. One Sunday in May they are having brunch at Michael’s House where they create a story that takes a wild turn. Please enjoy triple Homicide!
My passion is to direct and write films. I am really dedicated to doing this because I love storytelling and I like to make people feel emotions and the feelings of the characters I create. I feel like we as people become better when we share other’s emotions. We have a clearer more accepting view of peoples differences. As Bill English says at the San Francisco Playhouse, “Our theater is an empathy gym, where we come to practice our powers of compassion.” I feel like whenever I direct or write a film I am creating an opportunity for people to practice compassion and to improve themselves and the lives around them. My goal in life is to make the world a better place.
This is episode 1 of a seasonal series that takes place in the SLAM academy. This episode is centered around Ms. M who is a student teacher in a video production class who suddenly has to take over the class from Mr. Sheridan. The events that follow show the struggle that Ms. M faces to become a good and appreciated teacher to her students. Please Enjoy!
In the 8th grade I performed in Mary Poppins. I played the part of Bert and it was the most magical experience of my theater career.
Here is act one of Mary Poppins. I was so proud and passionate for this show.
