I believe that I am good at solving problems. Whenever trouble comes my way I always take it head on. I don’t falter, I get excited and I try with all my might to find a solution. I rarely get overwhelmed to the point where I give up. I put all my effort into solving the problem at hand. That has proved to be a very helpful tool, that I am grateful for. It is especially helpful when I’m working in film. Problems always come up and they can halt whole projects. It is vital to not get discouraged by these flaws but, to take them, solve them and learn from them. I remember in particular that I did this with SLAM20a. We had not had enough time to set-up and do the tech run through, so that made the whole experience stressful. I took experience and then thought about how I could fix that the next time I filmed. I did just that for Triple Homicide. I went a day early with my crew and we set up the stage so that all we had to do the next morning was put the actors in place and hit record. I learned from the past mistakes and past problems and I found solutions.
When I grow up I want to become a film producer and director. I know it sounds ambitious, but I have my whole life ahead of me and I am determined to achieve this goal. I dream of this future because film is something that I find so special and so incredibly important to the world and the betterment of society. I love storytelling and I like to make people feel emotions and the feelings of the characters I create. I feel like we as people become better and more aware when we share each other’s emotions. We have a clearer more accepting view of people’s differences. I feel like whenever I direct or write a film or play I am creating an opportunity for people to improve themselves and the lives around them. There is something that I find so special about creating a story that you can share with the world. Film production encompasses every aspect of storytelling and improving the world that I want in my life. I want to entertain and give to the world all I have. I want to share my passion with the world and by doing that make the world a better place.
My biggest dream for the future is becoming a good father and a good husband. I have always felt a calling that drives me to want to be a father and care for my family. I want to have a couple of kids and a spouse to care for. My dream is to raise and support a family. I want to be able to support them. In order to do that I need to have a successful job that allows me to financially support myself and my family. This job doesn't need to be extremely profitable but, I want to be able to afford the living costs for my family. I also want to be able to go to work every morning passionate and excited about the day ahead. I want to enjoy every moment that I work so that I don't bring any stress home to my family. I want to be able to support my family and be able to pay for my children’s education and their future. I don’t ever want my kids to worry about not having enough money to eat or to go to school. I dream of being a good father and giving my kids a good future.

I feel as if my greatest talent is determination. Nothing can knock me down. When I see an issue I take it head on. That skill proves to be incredibly beneficial because that is how I solve problems. When I take something head on I usually can find a solution. This is very helpful when I am working on a film. If I want a certain shot or a look of a scene, and I just can’t make something look perfect. I will stay up late into the night and put hours into it to get what satisfies me. I am very determined to get every problem solved so that I can produce the best final product. I also apply that skill to when I work at summer camp. If a child is having an issue I will put my whole self into dealing with that issue. If the kid is being difficult I don’t get discouraged, I just try harder. But when I go head first into an issue I always stay dedicated to what I was doing before so that I am not dropping one thing to do another. I try to do everything to the best of my ability. Determination is a skill that I pride myself with because it allows me to succeed and excel.
