My First Composite

I learned how to erase using Adobe Photoshop CC 2017. In Photoshop, I first erased myself and made it into a transparent. I proceeded to add the Friends cast in as a background and then played around with the brightness/contrast to make both images match, but it didn't work out well.

Clone Mrs. Farley

To clone the squirrel, I made a new layer and held down the option key to select my target area. Once I let go of the key, I stamped my squirrels onto my desired areas. The cloning worked out nicely, but I think I could've done better on my composite.

Collage Project

I made a collage filled with my favorite things, that being Harry Potter, some Hollywood stars, and food. First I made the background as Hogwarts and then I made each image into a transparent. Next, I set a low opacity for the pizza. Finally, I just rearranged all my transparents so they'd compliment each other.

Text Meme

I made these memes using Photoshop. The reason for the caption is I cross campus at least twice a day and I almost got ran over twice, so I thought this was funny. As for the second one, it's just a stereotype for freshmen, directed at no one specifically.

Adjusting Contrast With Levels & Curves

I edited this photo in Photoshop by changing its' levels and curves. The top photo is the original and the bottom photo is edited. There isn't really much of a difference but you can tell that the sunrise is more opaque.

Typography

A serif is a tiny line attached to the end of a stroke. In French, sans means "without", so sans serif does not have any serifs. Script fonts are good for invitations, titles, and anything you want to look elegant. You should avoid Dakota because it's a handwriting font. It makes things look sloppy and why are you typing to look like you hand wrote it? Kerning is the process of adjusting the spacing between characters to achieve a visually pleasing result. Hierarchy is a system of organization in which people or groups are ranked one above the other according to status or authority. In typography, hierarchy is used for establishing an order of importance within the data. Allowing the reader to easily find what they are looking for.
