Plot
Thunderbolts is a 2025 American superhero film based on Marvel Comics featuring the team Thunderbolts.
In Malaysia, Yelena Belova destroys a laboratory on behalf of CIA director Valentina Allegra de Fontaine who is desperately cleaning up evidence of her involvement with the O.X.E. Group’s “Sentry” superhuman project.
An amnesiac man named Bob is released from a suspended animation pod in the room. After they realised that they were sent by de Fontaine to be incinerated along with the evidence of their misconduct, they worked together to escape the trap. Upon coming into physical contact with Bob, Yelena and Walker briefly experience their worst memories.
De Fontaine sees that the group survived and that Bob was a presumed dead volunteer in the Sentry trials. When de Fontaine arrives at the site, Bob creates a diversion by drawing enemy fire, allowing Yelena, Walker and Ava to escape from there. Bob survived and sustained no injuries when being shot. Alexi refers to the group as the Thunderbolts in reference to a soccer team Yelena played in her childhood.
The Thunderbolts discovered that De Fontaine conceived Bob to join her side as a new superhero she plans to market as a replacement for the Avengers called the Sentry. After Bob easily beat the team like it was nothing and forcing the team to retreat, Bob develops a god like delusion of superiority, turning on to De Fontaine by her assistant Mel hit bob with a kill switch. This triggers the void and makes Bob evil and he uses his darkness to cover the whole of New York City.
Yelena enters the darkness and the rest of the team enter the darkness and fight their painful past and they save Bob from the Void.
The Thunderbolts prepare to apprehend de Fontaine, until she manipulates public perception by staging a press conference in which she introduces the team as the new Avengers, while crediting herself and the team plays along but Yelena tells de Fontaine quietly “we own you”.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians, if you’re not familiar with it, is book series written by author Rick Riordan, who has written other series such as Magnus Chase, The Kane Chronicles, the rest of the Percy Jackson universe, (Heroes of Olympus, Trials of Apollo), and single books as well (some link back to his series some don’t), but I’ll be focusing on the first Percy Jackson and the Olympians book, The Lightning Theif.
A short summary of the book:
Twelve year old Percy Jackson finds out he is a demigod, and is sent on a quest to retrieve Zeus’s missing master bolt, and figure out who he is, and more about his path as a demigod.
I would highly recommend this book for people that quite enjoy reading Greek mythology, fiction books, or fantasy books. This is one of my all time favourite books, so again I would highly recommend this book.
