P!NK has recently won ‘best tour of 2024’ resembling her Summer Carnival Tour 2024. This tour will be a great hit and definitely be a place to go make memories that you can cherish forever. She has also recently created outstanding new music hits that you can find on youtube searching ‘P!NK’. Some of these great hits are ‘All Out Of Fight’ and ‘When I Get There’ which is an extended song added to the ‘Trust Fall’ album. Following the songs, the album ‘Trust Fall’ was released in 2023 representing her tour which is again happening in 2024. All these songs and tours a great way to escape from reality and have the time of your life with family and friends, along with creating memories that will last a lifetime.

Upcoming Tour.

P!NK’s 2024 - ‘Summer Carnival Tour’ is set to begin in Sydney, Australia on the 9th of February, then going on to tour 67 different stadiums for 9 months! P!NK is even coming to Glasgow this year for 2 days in total, and as this being her first appearance in Glasgow, I wonder what she’ll think of it?

P!NK’s Life

The singer recently sat down for an exactly ‘60 Minute’ interview and opened up about some of the darkest times in her life, the story was told as follows :

“Being a child with my real name going as Alecia- Moore, I grew up in Pennsylvania, where I was constantly feeling bored and desperate to leave. My home was filled with a lot of tension, and as a teenager it didn’t help when me and my mother were always fighting, until one day when things got physical and led to my mother falling down the stairs. I will always see that as my one regret in life, but I have since reconciled with my mother.”

“After that happened, things only got worse, with my parents beginning to use physical violence towards each other, so this led to me getting myself into selling and taking certain drugs. Then I dropped out of high school, was kicked-out of my own home, and was just going completely off the rails. My darkest moment was becoming overdosed and nearly losing my life one night, with the DJ saying.” -

“Come back tomorrow. I’ll give you a guest spotlight, but swear that you’ll never take another drug ever again.”

“From that night alone I knew someone believed in me, so I kept my promise to him and within four weeks I was already auditioning for record deals. My journey then began in the music industry as the lead singer for a girl’s R&B group offered me a deal, but I always promised to stay true to myself as a solo - artist. Using my teenage nickname ‘P!NK’ I went on to create my first album, ‘Missundaztood’’ which represented how I felt during my childhood. This was the start of my whole career. "

Pupils Share Their Favourite Childhood TV Shows

Whether it was Mr Tumble, Topsy and Tim, or In The Night Garden, everyone had a favourite childhood tv show. This article will tell us some pupils from all around the school favourites from when they were children.

Keira (S1) - “The Next Step for me, because I used to love dancing.”

Alex (S3) - “Peppa Pig of course, but I also loved Dora The Explorer.”

Aiza (S1) - “I can’t really remember any to be honest.”

Mya (S1) - “I loved ‘In the Night Garden’ because of the theme tune and anytime I would hear it playing, I would always run down the stairs and be falling asleep whilst watching it before bedtime.”

Olivia (S1) - “I think my favourite childhood tv programme is quite hard to say, but probably ‘Peppa Pig’ because it was pretty educational and loved all the animals in it. I also would pause the show and say ‘that’s a pig or that’s a horse!’, which was pretty funny too.”

Ella (S1) - “I liked ‘In the Night Garden because little me found it very amusing and the character ‘maca paca’ would always annoy my mum and dad.”

Arinade (S1) - “Peppa Pig because it is funny.”

Caera (S1) - “My favourite has got to be ‘Tracy Beaker’ or ‘The Dumping Ground’ which both are directed by the same person. I think I have probably watched all the episodes about 10 times over to be honest!”
