Challenge 3 - Mathematics
Mathematics is the science that deals with the logic of shape, quantity and arrangement. Maths is all around us, in everything we do. It is the building block for everything in our daily lives, including mobile devices, money, architecture and engineering to name a few examples! When you study Mathematics at secondary school, you will have the opportunity to explore some of these themes.
Your Mathematics Challenge
Use the numbers 1, 9, 6 and 3 to calculate the following numbers:
a) 28
b) 32
c) 35
d) 38
e) 72
f) 73
Rules
You can use the numbers 1, 6, 9 and 3 as many times as you want.
You can multiply, divide, add and subtract, as well as squaring.
