English will allow you the opportunity to develop your critical and creative thinking as well as expand your listening, talking, reading, writing and interpersonal skills.

The English Department have a Teaching Assistant Programme for S6 pupils. This is where S6 pupils help out in S1 English classes. So when you join in August you might meet some of our S6 helpers.

At registration each morning you will have ten minutes of personal reading.

WRITE

Create a presentation or short story.

In your story or presentation we would like you to write about your dream first day of high school. Imagine you could choose your own timetable, teachers, subjects, uniform, how long you get for lunch etc. Put in as much detail as you can.
