Our Curriculum

Play pedagogy is the foundation of our approaches at Glenlee. Staff use a variety of stimulating teaching practices to motivate and our interest children. We expect our children to be both collaborative and independent. Children take responsibility for their learning and in addition are involved in the planning of what they will learn and how they will learn.

Our learning and teaching activities are based on the outcomes and experiences in the guidelines that all schools have for Curriculum for Excellence and in addition to this, we have our own strong curriculum rationale which has been created in close consultation with our pupils, parents, staff and valued partners.
