Please ask your child to check Skyward to see the 2020-2021 schedule.
High school students and parents use the same password as last year to log onto Skyward.
New students and families can see the directions below to access Skyward.
Please know that counselors are still working to adjust schedules; teacher, room assignment and period for a class may change.
Dr. McGair, Principal of SKHS, will be sending out additional information about how the schedule will run each day.
The first day of school is September 14, 2020.

Skyward Access for STUDENTS to see schedule, grades and attendance:

You will be prompted to change your initial password upon initial login
If you have forgotten your username or password, use the “Forgot Login/Password ?”

Request for Course Changes:
All changes to schedules must be requested by September 25; this includes all classes period 1 through period 8.
Here is a link to the form to request a course change for your student.
Requests for course changes will only be accepted via this form.
Speaking with the School Counselor for your child:
Please call or email your child’s school counselor with any questions regarding the schedule.
If your child would like to make a virtual appointment with the school counselor regarding the schedule, please ask your child to check the school email for information on how to make an appointment.
As we are working to keep everyone as healthy as possible, we are currently meeting with students via Google Meet only.
Family Emergency Contact Information can be updated via Skyeward:
An updated email is critical to receive information; if you do not use email as a means of communication, please call SKHS at 401.360.1014 to let us know.
Families may use the Student Information Page in Family Access in Skyward to add or delete emergency contacts, update primary, secondary, and third phone numbers, as well as update whether the contact is a pickup and their relationship to the student. Please take a moment to update this information.
Free/reduced lunch forms can be found on-line at https://www.skschools.net/resources/for_families/food_service_information.
Forms must be completed and returned every year.

Laptops: All families who are new to the SK district should have received an email regarding laptop pickup. If you have not, please contact Maggie Randall at mrandall@sksd-ri.net or 401.360.1004.
PSAT/NMSQT Information for Juniors:
The PSAT/NMSQT is scheduled for Wednesday, October 14, 2020, 7:30AM. In-school testing in October 2020 is available only this year due to COVID.
There is NO cost this year only.
SIGN UP IS HERE BY PARENT/GUARDIAN by September 15, 2020. Please note this is the second day of school. We cannot offer an extension for registration as tests must be ordered.
Parents/guardians must use the link in this letter to sign their JUNIOR only.
Taking this PSAT/NMSQT offers the opportunity for juniors to be automatically considered for the National Merit Scholarship. Link HERE for more information about National Merit Scholarship.
SAT Information for SENIORS: One session of the SAT for SENIORS ONLY will be held in-school on October 14. All seniors are automatically registered for SAT; there is NO cost for this test.

Please note that many post-secondary schools are test optional for the Class of 2020. Students in the Class of 2020 and 2021 should review each college’s website for up to date information on SAT/ACT testing requirements.

AP Courses and Required Exams: All students enrolled in Advanced Placement course(s) are required to take the AP exam in May 2021. Fee waivers are available for students who qualify for free or reduced lunch; please see Mrs. Crudale to verify eligibility and determine appropriate payment. Students who have not completed an AP Contract need to complete the contract, found HERE. Please print, sign and return with your AP Payment. Payment of $100 for each exam must be submitted by Friday, September 25, 2020 to Ms. Gagnon in the main office.
