These scholarships are donated by local civic organizations, businesses, and families and will be awarded to students during the SKHS Senior Awards and Scholarships Night.
As we go through the scholarship process, new scholarships may be added to the website.
You should continue to visit this website each week so that you will not miss any application/deadline information.
When your application is complete, please follow the specific scholarship directions for submitting it.
Each application has a "Due By" date, and these deadlines are FIRM.
Scholarships are listed alphabetical order.
Many of the applications are due April 1st to the guidance office. However, some applications have a different deadline and/or submission process and this has been noted next to each scholarship. If you are late with your application, it will not be considered by the scholarship committee.
The responsibility for checking and adhering to all scholarship deadlines lies with you, the student.
Unofficial transcripts are available on Skyward. It is your responsibility to make copies of your transcript and attach it to each of your applications.
There are scholarships that are by nomination only and this is noted in the description. Recipients are chosen by the selection committee; there are no applications for the scholarships. The list can be found at the bottom of the page.

Ellen and Albert Smith Memorial Scholarship
A substantial, four-year renewable scholarship is offered to seniors who are SK residents and who are applying to a college or university. This scholarship is based on academic achievement and financial need.

This $1000.00 scholarship is available to graduating seniors. Priority will be given (but not limited) to graduating high school students who enroll in a trade or technical school program of instruction, or equivalent. Graduating high school students who enroll in a community college, college, university, etc. are also encouraged to apply.

This year the Rhode Island Italian American Hall of Fame will offer several scholarship awards at a minimum of $2,000 each to the best male and female scholar-athletes and scholar-artists in the state.

The Early Enrollment Program is awarding RIC/EEP scholarships of $1,000 to EEP students who plan to enroll at Rhode Island College this fall. The EEP Scholarships are open to all seniors who have enrolled in at least one EEP course during their high school career.

The Westerly Airport Association annually awards scholarships to assist students pursuing postsecondary education toward an aviation or aero-space related career, such as flight crew, aircraft maintenance, aeronautical or astronautical engineering, airline or airport operations and the like.
