C4: The last LTTA in Gothenburg, Sweden
The last meeting took place in Gothenburg in March 2019. The theme for the meeting was "Unity through diversity" which also was the title of the ongoing project for the week, to create a digital image.
The lessons presented through the week were on Religion studies. In these classes, the students encountered many new experiences on how to work with this subject but also how we approach the subject with different perspectives based on our different background.
The first day, the president of the student school board and one of the students in the ICT board presented the ICT work at Santosskolan and the schedule for the week. All schools also had a presentation of their ICT work and their school for the group.
The students were divided into smaller teams with a mix of nationalities in each group together with a Swedish host student. We thought this would be a good way of getting the students to interact with each other and also encourage them to speak English. Within the teams, they had lunch together, they visited regular classes with their hosts and worked together in different workshops throughout the week.
As a breaking-the-ice activity, we went to Ulricehamn ski center together for a day in the slope. Many students had never had a go before. This gave the students the opportunity to try out one sport activity popular in Sweden.
The last activity was a workshop with the art class teacher. Each team made a stop motion animation (Stop Motion Studio) where they presented their take on "Unity through Diversity". These were later presented by each team in front of the full group, teachers included.

C1: First international meeting in Lanciano (Italy)
From 5th to 10th March 2018 participants from five countries (Italy, Romania, Sweden, Turkey and Poland) met as part of the Erasmus + programme in wonderful old Italian city Lanciano. Three students from each participating country and their English and IT teachers learnt how to prepare interesting presentations and lessons using information technologies.
The project "Modern classes for digital natives" aims to show that lessons prepared by using different IT tools bring better results than traditional lessons.
During several very intensive days in Lanciano students and teachers learned programs such as Scratch, App Inventor and Story Telling, to be able to pass this knowledge in their schools and countries to other beneficiaries and prepare with their help math’s lessons that will be presented at the next meeting which are going to take place in May 2018 in Kołczygowy in Poland.
Italian school prepared many interesting attractions for guests. At the beginning of the meeting the participants presented their countries, regions and schools. Students of the Italian school together with their teachers guided the entire group through the historical Lanciano, which is known for the Eucharistic miracle. They introduced in English the history of the city and curiosities about many monuments and buildings (e.g. a church built on an ancient bridge). Guests could also taste school lunches consisting of three courses - pasta in various forms as a first dish, meat, fish or tart with salads as a second dish and fruit for as a third dish.
The hosts organized a trip to the Adriatic Sea and to the Monastery of San Giovanni in Venere. Students of the school learning to play on various instruments (including transverse flute, clarinet, saxophone, guitar, keyboard ...) presented a concert of classical music for all participants and invited guests in a special school hall used for such purposes. The history teacher and her students prepared presentations on Italian monasteries and a French teacher prepared with participants an international dictionary of frequently used phrases and words and a song about peace in seven languages.
As a goodbye surprise the hosts prepared a surprise in the form of a gala dinner with traditional Italian dishes in a stylish restaurant.
Participants of the meeting from Poland, Sweden and Romania visited together Rome and Vatican.
It was difficult for all to go back to their countries because we became good friends with each other, but thanks to technologies, everyone can stay in a contact.
