C3 - RO - 8 -12 October 2018
Participants - 3 students and two teachers per country. The teachers are preferably Literature and English, so they can have first-hand experience of the lessons presented by students and can coordinate students' work. The students will be selected from the target group of 13 year olds in each school.
Before the exchange, students in each country need to prepare 2 Literature lessons in English using the digital instruments that were presented during C1.
The exchange presupposes four parts:
1. Induction and team building. Participants are given a tour of the school, attend common ice-breaking activities, present their school, education system, city and country and are given a tour of the city.
2. Topic-related activities - workshops are organised in which the students present their lessons. These are assessed by host students and teachers, who will complete evaluation sheets based on set criteria - utility, ease of understanding, design, applicability etc.
A workshop is held by the host IT teacher or another local professional in which students are taught to use other ICT instruments. (e.g. https://animoto.com/)
3. Attending lessons - students and teachers will be split into smaller groups and be invited to attend literature lessons in English in the host school. Then divided into multicultural groups, they are to create booktrailers with the new instruments on the topics of the lessons they have attended.
4. Feedback and evaluation
- students complete feedback forms on the exchange and its contents;
- participants answer questionnaires about host country.
- certificates of attendance are given and Europass mobility documents are completed and signed.
Throughout the week, cultural events or other team-building activities will be organised by
the host, in order to strengthen the cohesion and cultural dimension of the project.
After the exchange, workshops of transfer of knowledge and practices are held in each institution - both students and teachers are in charge.
