親愛的家長們，

Dear Parents,

您好，我是三光國小五、六年級的英語科任/雙語課程教師王博日（Mr. Gary）。在與您的孩子共度許多寶貴的學習時光後，我深感孩子們的潛力和前景非常值得期待。今天，我想與您分享兩個對孩子一生都有重大影響的要點。

I am Mr. Gary, the English/Bilingual teacher for the fifth and sixth grades at Sankuang Elementary School. After spending invaluable learning time with your children, I'm highly optimistic about their potential and future. Today, I'd like to share two critical aspects that will have a significant impact on your child's life.

多陪伴孩子：孩子的成長階段是無法重來的。我自己有兩個小學階段的孩子，分別在三年級和五年級。回想他們一、二年級的時候，我每天晚上都會在睡前給他們講聖經故事，直到他們聽著聽著就睡著了。如今，他們仍然會回想起那些特別的時刻和故事，這些都是無法用金錢來衡量的寶貴回憶。

More Time with Children: Each stage of a child's growth is irreplaceable. I have two kids in elementary school, one in third grade and another in fifth grade. Thinking back to their early elementary years, I would read them Bible stories before bed until they fell asleep. Those special moments have turned into invaluable memories, which they still cherish.

多鼓勵孩子：台灣早期的傳統教育方式，往往採取「恨鐵不成鋼」的態度，家庭教育資源也未如今日般豐富。但時代已經改變，我們應該意識到，即使自己以前受到的家庭教育或許並不全面正面，現在也不應該讓這種負面循環持續下去。

More Encouragement: The traditional education methods in Taiwan were often rooted in high expectations and scarce resources. However, times have changed. We must recognize that even if the family education we received was not always positive, we shouldn't perpetuate this negative cycle.

在孩子的成長過程中，您的陪伴和鼓勵具有無法替代的價值。希望我們能一起為孩子們創造一個更加愛與關懷充滿的成長環境。

In the journey of your child's growth, your companionship and encouragement are irreplaceable. I hope we can work together to create a loving and caring environment for them to grow up in.

如何學好英文? by Mr. gary

每一個想要學習英文的人都有他們的目標，無論是為了出國旅遊，或是考過英語檢定，甚至是日常的購物都可能需要運用到英語。有了目標，我們就可以依據目標訂出合適的學習計畫，進而慢慢達到我們想要的目標，這就是學好英文的關鍵。

首先，我們要確定我們的目標是甚麼。學習任何一種語言，我們都需要先確定我們想要達到的目標。例如，如果你的目標是出國旅遊，你可能需要專注在日常對話、旅遊相關詞彙的學習上。如果你的目標是考過英語檢定，那麼你可能需要把重點放在語法、閱讀理解，甚至寫作能力的訓練。如果你的目標是日常購物，那麼你可能需要專注於商業英語、產品介紹等相關的詞彙學習。每一種目標都需要不同的學習方法，所以首先確定你的目標是非常重要的。

接著，我們要訂出學習計畫。設定好目標後，就可以依據目標制定學習計畫。例如，如果你的目標是考取多益500分，你可能需要學習5000個單字；如果你的目標是考取多益700分，你可能需要學習更多的單字，並且加強語法、閱讀理解、寫作等能力。學習計畫可以幫助你更有效率的學習，讓你的學習不會盲目，也可以讓你更容易達到你的目標。

最後，我們需要持續進步。學習語言不是一蹴可幾的事情，它需要長時間的練習和學習。我們需要找到自己的學習動機，讓我們可以持續進步。你可以每天進步1%，無論是學習新的單字，還是練習語法，甚至是練習聽力和口說，只要你每天都有所進步，你就會越來越接近你的目標。

總的來說，學好英文需要我們確定目標、設定學習計畫，並且持續進步。透過確定我們的目標，我們可以找出最適合我們的學習方式；透過設定學習計畫，我們可以更有效率的學習；透過持續進步，我們可以逐漸達到我們的目樔。所以，如果你想學好英文，那麼你就需要先確定你的目標，然後訂出你的學習計畫，最後持續進步，這樣你就可以學好英文。

How to Master English?

Each individual intending to learn English has their unique goals. Whether it's for international travel, passing an English proficiency test, or even daily shopping, English can play a significant role. With a goal in mind, we can devise a suitable learning plan, thereby gradually achieving our aims - this is the key to mastering English.

Firstly, we must determine our goals. When learning any language, we need to ascertain what we want to achieve. For instance, if your goal is to travel abroad, you may need to focus on everyday conversations and travel-related vocabulary. If your objective is to pass an English proficiency test, then you might need to concentrate on grammar, reading comprehension, and even writing skills. If your goal involves everyday shopping, you may need to focus on business English and product-related vocabulary. Each goal requires different learning methods, making it crucial to define your objectives first.

Next, we should establish a learning plan. Once the goals are set, a learning plan can be formulated accordingly. For example, if your target is to score 500 on the TOEIC test, you may need to learn around 5,000 words; if it's to score 700, you might need to learn even more words while enhancing grammar, reading comprehension, and writing skills. A learning plan can help you learn more efficiently, avoid aimless studying, and achieve your goals more easily.

Finally, we need to strive for continuous improvement. Language learning isn't an overnight endeavor - it requires consistent practice and learning over a prolonged period. It's essential to find your motivation for learning, enabling you to progress continuously. You can improve by 1% each day, whether it's learning new words, practicing grammar, or even honing listening and speaking skills. As long as you make progress daily, you'll get closer and closer to your goal.

In conclusion, mastering English requires us to set goals, establish a learning plan, and persist in improving. By identifying our goals, we can find the most suitable learning methods for us. Through setting a learning plan, we can study more effectively. By consistently improving, we can gradually reach our targets. So, if you want to master English, you first need to determine your goals, then formulate your learning plan, and finally persist in your progress - this way, you can indeed master English.

附件提供 今年度 新北菁英盃 考前須知 請老師針對此文件先行對學生進行考前教育 活動講解 "不強制 "參加 可自行斟酌 或 自行於校內講解後 考前十分鐘至各考場準備即可。

一、事前進行全面消毒，每試場皆備妥酒精。

二、正式進入考場(教室) 選手進行額溫檢測及手部酒精消毒 (所有人員請戴上口罩)。

三、每場次結束後，進行鍵盤、滑鼠及環境酒精消毒 進行考場全面消毒。

四、考試時間為1小時10分，完畢後即離校。

※因人數眾多，學校租用之巴士可進入校園停車，帶隊教師或家長請停校外停車格。

※賽前與換場間，場地之座位 鍵盤等相關設備器材將會進行全面消毒。

※居家檢疫、居家隔離、自主健康管理期間者，及有發燒、呼吸道症狀、腹瀉、嗅味覺

異常等疑似症狀之民眾（包括表演者及活動工作人員），不得參加相關活動。

※參加大賽活動者應全程佩戴口罩；除補充水分外，禁止飲食，倘民眾有飲食需求，應

於進入會場前用餐完畢，會場內禁止販售餐飲，且應加強宣導民眾在無法保持社交距離

時應避免飲食。

※請注意：

1.新北市菁英盃填報資料所列之校名、學系等資料為新北市菁英盃頒獎證明、獎狀之依據，報名截止後不再受理更改，請務必確認清楚。

2.級別一律依照實施要點的規定辦理。
