In order to meet the codes and conventions of the pop genre I will include/I plan to:
try to balance the narrative with the performance as the importance of both are at about a 50/50 split
take into account that in this genre their is a higher proportion of solo artists so it may be a good idea to be a solo artist
illustrate/amplify the lyrics of the song into the music video
possibly have a luxury type of vibe to the music video and this could mean it being set in some sort of lounge or bar
look at recent fashion trends when deciding what the costume should be for the music video for each character involved
the narrative should be involved with love, could be. relationship love or possibly a family love
have the artist represented in the narrative
