For my music video i will need two performers, one boy and one girl. There is a possibility of side characters in the music video including 'the guy she moved on to' but for main performers it will only be two. For the main narrative it begins with the recording of the moon which pans down into a window where you can see a dispute between the couple where the girl ends up leaving and the boy is confused and heartbroken as he believes he has not done anything wrong. The boy doesn't know what to do without her, looking at her last messages trying to text her but there is no reply. He holds up the picture of them together a polaroid of some kind, missing her. In the following weeks he is still heartbroken, he walks past familiar places where they used to go and as he sees each location flashbacks keep coming back to him with old memories of them together at the park, on the swings, pushing her down the slide. Eventually time passes and he begins to get over her, and the final shot being him dropping the polaroid picture he had of both of them that he cherished in the past off into the wind. As the polaroid image slowly falls the camera pans steadily back to the moon. Throughout the video there will be me, the performer, in a suit performing parts of the song whilst playing the piano. This message shows that time heals everything and that letting go isnt about forgetting, but accepting, growing and finding peace within yourself.Â
