In our Kindergarten Character Education classes, we will be using the Second Step curriculum. This curriculum teaches skills in four areas:
Skills for Learning
Empathy
Emotion Management
Problem Solving
We play games, listen to stories, watch music videos, hear from our puppet friends Bella, Mr. Snail, and the Calm Down Bunny, complete worksheets, and sometimes we have Homelinks, which are short homework sheets meant to be completed with a grown up.
