Have you been feeling scared or angry or overwhelmed lately? When we have strong feelings we have to find a way to calm ourselves down. In class, we talk about 3 easy ways to calm ourselves down. Do you remember what they are?
Belly Breathing - look for the video to show you how if you can't remember!
Counting - just taking a deep breath and counting to 10 will sometimes do the trick!
Positive self talk - remember to use POSITIVE self talk! If you use negative self talk, you will make yourself feel worse instead of better. You CAN do it, you ARE smart, and you WILL get through whatever you are struggling with!
