Hello! I am starting to create and post videos here that will help remind Waterman students about the coping skills and strategies I talk about in our Friday morning meetings with the whole school.

The next two videos show some fun breathing techniques I use a lot. One is called candle breathing and the other is bubble breathing
This week I invited a special guest to help me explain bunny breathing
This video is a great one for learning how to breath with your belly. It is called Rock - A - Stuffie and my daughter is showing us how to lie down and make the stuffed animal move up and down with our breathing. Don't pay attention to the "shaking" at the end, she could only keep in her laughter for so long ;)
The next set of videos are about helping to focus your thoughts on things around you. This can help to distract from uncomfortable thoughts and feelings by focusing on something in the present.
