Even though you might not be able to visit a college campus in person, there are still plenty of ways to connect with college admission counselors and demonstrate just how interested you are in their school. Most colleges are offering virtual events - from information sessions to open houses. Join in on these! Get to know the admissions counselor for New Jersey and start making a connection. Ask questions, share information and find out all you can about the college and the admissions process.
In addition to individual college virtual events, many of the organizations that use to hold large scale events are now hosting them virtually. As more virtual sessions are added throughout the year, we will be sure to update this page.

StriveScan offers two different program formats:
1. Virtual College Exploration
A multi-week program with dozens of panel presentations on college knowledge topics or affinity groups of colleges, as well as individual college information sessions.
Similar to an in-person fair, hosted over a three-hour period, this format consists of six colleges each presenting for six minutes.
Few schools require interviews, but if offered the opportunity we highly recommend taking advantage of this one-on-one meeting.
Usually conducted by alumni or admission counselors.
Be sure to be prepared with questions that cannot be easily answered on the website.
Thank the interviewer - both during the interview and after via email.
Demonstrated interest is important!
