Innovation in Education: Bridging AI and Ignatian Pedagogy

This presentation will explore the intersections presented by the advent of widespread artificial intelligence (AI) with the Ignatian pedagogical framework to prepare faculty members to thoughtfully incorporate AI technologies into their teaching practices while upholding the core values of Jesuit education. This address will offer ways of thinking about AI overall, as well as practical strategies and approaches for leveraging AI to enhance student engagement, promote critical thinking, and enrich our solid pedagogical and philosophical traditions with innovation. The presentation will be followed by a moderated conversation and Q&A.
