All PCP TLC participants are required to complete at least 1 ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education session. Questions about CPEs should be sent to dalm@sju.edu with your PCP TLC mentor CC'd on the email.
The PCP TLC CPE Submission Form must be completed by the CPE presenter, the PCP TLC mentor, and a content expert* >45 days prior to the presentation date. Please send a notification email to dalm@sju.edu when all submissions have been completed.
CPE Presenters will receive an email with instructions and a link to a folder of materials once their CPE submission has been processed.
*Trainee CPE programs require a content expert mentor per ACPE-CPE standards/requirements. This person must review all program materials including learning objectives, presentation slides, and assessment questions prior to the presentation date. Please send the link to this form to your content expert mentor so that they can verify they will do this review prior to your presentation date.
**Active learning assessment questions must be included in every CPE presentation. The quantity of assessment questions must be at least 1 assessment question per learning objective.
Knowledge-based CPE activity: Each CPE activity in this category must include assessment questions structured to determine recall of facts.
Application-based CPE activity: Each CPE activity in this category must include case studies structured to address application of the principles learned.
Where/when can I present my CE?
PCP TLC participants may present their CPE at their practice site or virtually at any point in the year as long as the submission timeline above has been followed.
Can I change my CPE presentation date?
Once the ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education session has been processed, one cannot change the date or how the presentation will be delivered. For example, if submission to ACPE-CPE regarding the live presentation is to be in-person, one cannot change to virtual without contacting dalm@sju.edu.
How should I select my CPE topic?
Many participants work with their practice site to identify an educational need that could be addressed by a CPE session. Your PCP TLC faculty mentor can serve as a useful resource for brainstorming ideas, refining topics, and identifying content experts.
