How do I register for the conference?

I am staying at SJSU's Conference Housing: where do i tell lyft/uber/a taxi to drop me off?

tell them to take you to: 375 9th St., San José, CA 95112. Once you get out of your ride, walk onto campus (north)about 50 yards... Campus Village 2 (aka CV2) will be on your left. The front desk of CV2 is where you check in to stay in SJSU's Conference Housing

I am staying at SJSU's Conference Housing: Where do I check in?

Check in at the front desk of Campus Village 2 (aka "CV2"). The Front Desk of CV2 is located at this google map link. This is the east side of the CV2 building that faces Campus Village C (aka "CVC")

What about WiFi? Can I connect to the interwebz?

Yes! When telling your smart device to choose a wifi network, choose "SJSU_Guest" and you are all set!

Also: if you come from a institution that participates in the eduroam network, we do too, that is another option. Please contact your IT administrator on your campus for more information. You should see "eduroam" appear in the list of wifi options on your smart device as well.

Is DDNRC 2023 a Virtual Conference or in Person? Is there a virtual option for attendance?

DDNRC 2023 is a fully in-person conference. All sessions will be held in the Diaz Campean Student Union at San José State University.

Food: are meals included in the conference price?

The conference will provide morning beverages and pastries, a boxed lunch, and an afternoon snack (think coffee and cookies)

How do I get a discount for being a DDNRC member or DDNRC Institional member?

Here's what you do! When you click on the registration link, the interwebz send you to a different website. There, you will see something that says "Have a promotional code?" it should look something like the first picture below. Click on that. Then, new field should appear as shown in the second picture below. Type "DDNRCMEMBER" (without the quotes) in that form field. Then, click on the word "apply", like in the 3rd picture, and you will magically see the prices change on the menu of options. Membership Benefit! Yea!

How do I get a discount for being a Faculty or Staff member at SJSU?

Here's what you do! When you click on the registration link, the interwebz send you to a different website. There, you will see something that says "Have a promotional code?" it should look something like the first picture below. Click on that. Then, new field should appear as shown in the second picture below. Type "SJSU" (without the quotes) in that form field. How do i get a discount for being a Faculty or Staff member at CSU East Bay?

Here's what you do! When you click on the registration link, the interwebz send you to a different website. There, you will see something that says "Have a promotional code?" it should look something like the first picture below. Click on that. Then, new field should appear as shown in the second picture below. Type "CALSTATE-EASTBAY" (without the quotes) in that form field.
