Why Bother With Breakfast?

Breakfast is a great way to give the body the refueling it needs. Kids who eat breakfast tend to eat healthier overall and are more likely to be physically active — two great ways to help maintain a healthy weight.

Skipping breakfast can make kids feel tired, restless, or irritable. In the morning, their bodies need to refuel for the day ahead. Their mood and energy can drop by midmorning if they don't eat something for breakfast.

Breakfast may help keep kids' weight in check. Breakfast kick-starts the body's metabolism, the process by which the body converts the fuel in food to energy. Key Points

Our families are in our thoughts and prayers as you remain in your homes during these challenging times.

Teachers are working hard with online learning , keeping students as engaged and connected as possible.

We hope the  fun, wellbeing packs sent to your homes recently brightened up your day and gave you all a break away from screens and devices.

NAPLAN results have been posted to your homes. St Joseph's students performed highly.

We are discussing the Language that students are learning at school. A parent survey will be sent to you so that we can gather your thoughts and ideas about this.

Take care and contact the school if you have any questions or need any help. We have access to support networks that we can connect you with and would be happy to help in any way.

St JOSEPH'S PARTICIPATES

COUNT US IN SONG 2020  - WON'T BRING US DOWN!

The 2020 Count Us in Song this Year is called You Won't Bring Us Down.  All our students participated with many other schools at the designated time to enjoy the song throughout Australia. Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions the students could not sing, however Mrs D'Souza was very creative in her approach to ensure a way for us all to participate!
