**Things to keep in mind for this HW: To solve an equation (like the Pythagorean Theorem), you must (1) get the unknown variable (a, b, or c) by itself on one side of the = sign and (2) whatever you do to one side of the = sign, you must also do to the other.  To get a squared or b squared by itself, you will have to subtract the known one from the unknown one and then also subtract the known one from c squared on the other side.

The midterm will be on Chapters 1 & 2 and will come from your notes and the types of problems in the Cumulative Reviews- found on PB p. 37-38 and p. 67-68. Work these out well and I may possibly give some bonus points. I will have an optional review period after school on Monday 3:30-4:30 pm.
