This semester course covers basic concepts and techniques in linear algebra. More specifically, the following topics are studied: solutions of systems of linear equations, vectors and matrices, linear transformations, vector spaces and their subspaces, bases and linear independence, determinants, eigenvalues and eigenvectors, diagonalization, orthogonality, and other topics and applications as time permits. The prerequisite for Linear Algebra is one-variable differential calculus, although knowledge of multi-variable calculus would be helpful.
