Directions

From the US-395/Whitney Portal Road intersection in Lone Pine, CA, follow Whitney Portal Road west for ~12.0 miles to the Whitney Portal Parking area. The waterfall is immediately off the southwest end of the parking area.

This 150' waterfall greets visitors to the Whitney Portal just west of Lone Pine, CA. Another waterfall likely exists a little ways upstream of this one, between the Mt Whitney Trail and Lone Pine Lake.
