My imagination played.
Across the bay,
a ferry was leaving port. Perhaps it was on a day like this, about 150 years ago, that my great-grandfather left his home here on the Isle of Man to set sail for Liverpool and a new life in England.

On the night of July 3, 1954, Sheppard and Marilyn were entertaining neighbors at their lakefront home (demolished in 1993)[2] on Lake Erie at 28944 Lake Road[3] in Bay Village, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, just west of the city.
