Woke up before sunrise and left for the peace memorial park. Had to catch an early train for Aso so I didnt have much time. Took the monorail and went to the Peace Memorial Park. It had the perfect environment: peaceful.
It might have been early before the crowds and there were very few people. Mainly joggers and people taking a stroll. The museum opens around 7 or 8 and I couldnt wait for it. Walked around the peace memorial park.

A sad tale of Sadako
I head for the A-bomb dome last since it is near a tram stop.. Would want to ride one before leaving Hiroshima. The A bomb dome was near the T-shape bridge.. Spent some time there watching the sun rising..

With that, I took the JR train and it was definitely worthwhile to travel using 18 Kippu. Loads of sights and sceneries.
I had to change trains at Shinmonoseki and saw some cool stuff:
Shinmonoseki is famous for pufferfish
I think this is Spaceland.. seriously.
After a long day changing trains and taking naps, I finally reach Aso in the night.
Walked all the way to the Youth Hostel and saw snow around the road for my first time in my life. Met some friends and one of them drove a car. He offered us a ride to Aso early in the morning and that was very helpful since the first bus is around 9 am.
