I come from the capital city of China, Beijing. I spent my younger days from 12 to 18 in a special program concentrating on Mathematics at "the middle/high school affiliated to Renmin University of China (人大附中)". Then I attended the "Tsinghua University (清华大学)" and received my Bachelor Degree in Finance. After graduation, I worked as an analyst in the private industry for four years. During working, I was attracted by quantitative and economic research. In 2007, I resumed my study in the graduate school of "Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST)", and then "University of Wisconsin-Madison" one year afterwards. In 2013 summer, I received my PhD in Economics and moved to Temple University at Philadelphia for my first full-time academic job.
